Shades of Sync is hosting a student-focused music industry experience in Studio A at the Standard Building, designed to help students understand the business behind music and prepare for careers in the industry. Featuring industry professionals, including composer and educator Josh Williams, the event explores music licensing, royalties, publishing, and the business strategies behind building a sustainable career in music. Students will also learn about the Shades Student Grant, which helps cover most of the ticket cost, with opportunities to participate in person or online. This experience offers students valuable industry insight, professional perspectives, and practical knowledge to help them navigate the music business before graduation.
